The Last Drop · A Collective Artwork
Every matcha ends with one last drop. At What Remains, visitors let it fall onto a single canvas, and over four weeks their traces gather into one collective artwork that changes colour with time. Conceived by Valeria Viollaz for The mep, Lucerne, 7 November – 2 December 2026.
What Remains · The mep, Lucerne
What Remains brings together artists from Spain, Japan and Switzerland around a single conviction: that beauty is not a surface effect but a consequence of integrity. Stone, pigment, clay and linen — materials that are deepened, rather than consumed, by time. A curated exhibition by Valeria Viollaz, 7 November – 2 December 2026.
What Care Keeps · A Minotti Sofa · What Remains, Lucerne
A vintage Minotti sofa, still in the atelier. Linen woven a century ago. A deep cleaning no visitor will ever see. Before What Remains opens at The mep, Lucerne, a reflection on restoration as accompaniment, and on care as a form of responsibility, not appearance.
