A collective artwork, created by you

What remains of us when the moment is gone?

During What Remains, every visitor can leave a trace on one shared canvas.

When you finish your matcha, let the last drop fall onto the canvas. That is all. Your drop joins those of everyone who came before you.

Day after day, the drops gather and may slowly change colour with time. By the end of the exhibition, they will have become one artwork, made by all of us.

How to take part

1. Enjoy your matcha.
2. Let the last drop fall onto the canvas.
3. Leave your trace.

Pure matcha only, please.

After the exhibition

When What Remains closes, the canvas will continue its journey. Its next chapter will be shared here.

The moment passes. The trace remains.
